Maple Crescents
1 c. butter
5 T. white sugar
2 c. flour
1 t. vanilla
Mix in the order given and roll into crescent
shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 – 20
minutes. Cool on plate and store covered. Makes
3 dozen.
Maple Oatmeal Bars
3/4 c (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2/3 c. maple syrup
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
2 1/2 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
Cream together butter, syrup, eggs, vanilla; add
remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread evenly
on lightly greased 11” x 16” baking
sheet with raised sides. Bake at 325 degree for
25 – 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
Maple Fudge
2 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. light cream
2 1/2 T. butter
Heat to approximately 236 degrees F. then cool
to 120 degrees F.
Beat until creamy.
