Maple Meatballs
1 lb. hamburger
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 egg
1/4 c. maple syrup
Combine in large bowl and then
make meatballs. Brown and then place in crockpot
with 1 pt. Maple BBQ sauce and heat.
Maple Broiled Scallops
1 lb. lean bacon, cut into
3 - 4 inch lengths
2 lbs. sea scallops
1/4 c. maple syrup
Preheat broiler. Wrap a bacon
slice around each scallop and secure with toothpick.
Place on a wire rack on a baking sheet. Brush
with maple syrup. Broil for 3 - 5 minutes about
4 inches from the heat source, turn, brush with
more maple syrup and broil for 2 - 3 minutes more,
until bacon begins to crisp. Serve at once.
